Silicone Lubricant is ideal for spreading on all O-rings ref UVC Quartz sleeves O-rings become dry after 12 months so when replacing UVC lamps you must always lub up the o-ring or replace it so the unit doesn't leak water inside the Quartz which could trip the electrics and damage the lamp.
